Ligghjendi is a literary festival that was born in Santa Teresa Gallura, a small village in Northern Sardinia, which for years has been involved in the promotion of reading through various actions carried out by the Culture Sector and by the “Grazia Deledda Municipal Library” which since 2020 has joined the activities established by the Cepell (Center for Books and Reading).

The summer events calendar has always included the “Serate del Libro” (book presentations with the author) offering the possibility to citizens, but also to the numerous tourists, to combine relax and the beauty of the sea with moments of cultural enrichment.

The project to transform these evenings into a festival was born from the idea that books and reading are, in a moment as complex as our present, an important tool for comparison and understanding.

The artistic direction is entrusted to the writer and television author Flavio Soriga
